Product description states it takes a 100 watt bulb. Lamp arrived and it is clearly labeled as only being able to use 25 watts. Purchased this to be a desk lamp for a poorly lit bedroom. Will use it as mood lighting for the bedroom but will need to purchase an additional lamp.
