This lamp is just perfect! Love it!!!

The lamp was also a wedding present for my daughter and son-in-law. They love loved it !

They are beautiful and sturdy. My only complaints are that the top is too open so it blinds you to be above the lamps, and one of my two lamps has a very crooked socket. It didn't try to bend it for fear that I'd break it. So, that bulb is at a 45 degree angle instead of straight up in the air.

I ordered this lamp for my living room, which has an oriental theme. The lamp is beautiful, and complements the rest of the décor very nicely. One of the reviewers referred to the flowers as "red," which was concerning because my room is pink, ivory, and green. The flowers on the lamp are definitely not red but a lovely shade of pale pink. The background of the lamp and the lampshade are a pale beige. The base of the lamp is a dark, reddish wood and was a bit uneven in the coloring. Additionally, the lamp had a distinct "wobble" to it and did not sit flat on my table or on the floor (which I tried to determine if the table was warped). I had to add some felt pads to the base of the lamp to make it sit without wobbling, which easily solved the problem. These are the reasons for the four versus five stars.

Purchased two of these lamps for my bedroom. They seem sturdy enough and I like the size: not too big, not too small. However, on one of the lamps the red from the flowers bled onto the beige part of the lamp in several places. So the lamp has red smudges on the beige in a few areas. (Good thing they'll be in my bedroom and not in the living room.) Didn't anyone inspect them to ensure that a quality product was being shipped to the customer? To me, that's poor quality control...
