We installed this fixture is on the wall leading to our basement. It complements the existing stairway lighting in just the right, sublte way. The light is enough without being too much.

I think the simplicity of these sconces are make them so attractive. If you need a lot of sconces, these are the ones to use because they don't overpower the area. The light shines from the top and the bottom which adds a beautiful glow to the room.

Ambient background light. I bought as it is only 3 inches deep (I have cupboard door swinging towards it) was exactly as described and dispatched promptly.

Really pretty sconce except you can see the two bulbs.
