If you want to make a elegant statement, this sconce will do the trick. The polished nickel shade and bubble glass are gorgeous whether the light is on or off. Very heavy fixture that will need extra wall support. We purchased two for our bedside wall to free up space on the nightstands. Just as easily these sconces would add a wow factor to a dining room buffet area. They are large and give off good ambient light. For a bedroom application, they are not, nor are they intended to be, reading lamps. In our application, high intensity compact/folding reading lamps were added beneath to the bedside wall. configuration Pros: unique and expensive Cons: may need to supplement with task/ reading light, depending on location of use.

This light looks alright but the plastic triangle piece seems a little cheap.
