This is a beautiful lamp. But how do I find a light bulb that when turned on suffuses the light, rather than isolates it as a "seeing eye" inside of the red shade? As it stands now, the lamp looks like a "night light" rather than a lamp with a red shade. I would like a bulb that spreads the light outward, rather than contains it in itself. Any suggestions? Many thanks.

Great lamp. The only discontent I have is that the Wayfair website automatically asked if I wanted to purchase bulbs they recommend for this lamp. The lamp comes with NO BULB. I did purchase the recommended bulbs, only to find out that they do not fit as they were too tall and hit the harp for the shade. Now I have to return them and pay the postage to do so.

Like lamps. Was not aware they took odd sized light bulbs. When I finally found light bulbs that fit they were $13 each!

This light is a beautiful piece. Light weight but sturdy. I like that it is Made in the US. The craftsmanship is quite good.

We love these. We have them at each of our bedsides and the amount of light is enough to read without disturbing each other. They look great!

I love how it looks but I would prefer that the onoff switch were on the body of the lamp and not along the cord. Also, not at all thrilled that the price to buy it from wayfair.ca instead of wayfair.com is quite literally DOUBLE what Id get it for in the states!

Looks good but little light Pros: good accent piece Cons: Hardly any light. Have to use 25watt candelabra bulb.
