Lamp is purple when off, reddish when lit if anyone was confused by the pics.

I was in need for a pair of lamps for a Victorian bedroom. I choose these lamps in the other color offered. Although the description said plum, the photo on the website showed the lamps as having a more dark amber colored shade. Well, it truly is purplish. The client was ok with the lamps, but I was disappointed. Also thought the lamps would be a bit more substantial.
