Misleading and disappointing. Base size and shade size don't match --are not the same size. Not happy with this purchase as the base and the shade don't appear to have been meant to be together. Cons: Base and shade do not fit together properly making this product disappointing

I purchased two for bedside lamps and really wanted to love these. After purchasing the light bulbs and setting them up in the bedroom I couldn't get either one to light up. When turning the side switch to turn the light on caused a short flicker but would not turn the light on. I even tried several outlets throughout the house to no avail. They're going back! >:-[
