This looks so cheap in person and not quite like the photos. The photos make the purple look a bit more understated. In person, it is AGGRESSIVELY purple. Also, the whole thing looks and feels like plastic although it is supposedly made of glass. The base is made of metal but looks cheaply made. For a $600, I would have expected it to look better made. I have seen a lot of other Tiffany style lamps in person that were only $300 and looked less cheap

This is one of my favorite lamps in my house. Provides good light with two bulbs, great classic antique looking style. And I love the purple!

It's a beautiful lamp. I like not only the stained glass but also the somewhat unusual design of the tallish metal base. However, I wish the shade extended further over the bulbs. I have chandelier bulbs in the sockets, and a bit of the bulbs shows below the shade, and the brightness disturbs my eyes. The lamp must be placed on a surface low enough that the bulbs are below eye level... otherwise, the effect is not peaceful.

It was quick to assemble and beautiful.

It ACTUALLY turns on at lamp! Very nice muted colors, not all of us like a million colors
