I love this little lamp. The colors are beautiful and the shade is made very well. It really is a beauty.

This lamp is not a good value for the price. The detailing of the base is less sharp than what the pictures suggest (the pattern appears more 2-dimensional in person). Additionally, the felt bottom piece was poorly cut and poorly glued, but is passable. The cord is a universal black piece, this was disappointing as I expected a proper translucent gold lamp cord at this price. There are also two incorrect specifications in the product description - the cord is NOT 36" (it's over 6 feet) and, more importantly, the width and depth of the shade is NOT 8.5" (it is 9"), so beware if your planned application is a tight space. Overall it's not a bad lamp and the shade is very nicely done, but the price is definitely not appropriate for the quality. I would expect better at this price point. It probably deserves 2.5 stars, but that wasn't an option.
