Glass is beautiful with black and dark gray metal screw on base. Metal wall base portion of sconce is NOT black as in photo and does not match metal on glass portion. My fault for not understanding description, but photo does not match description. Very bummed since I love the sconce as pictured.

Unfortunately, I cannot review how it works due to unforseen electrical issues... But it was so beautiful and perfect for my space, I will keep it anyway!

I used it upside down (for better cleaning) and it really gives a nice atmospheric glow to my living room.

i'ts a lot large than I expected. You can hang it with the globe facing downward. Thats nice.
