Please note- NOT made of wood, instead some sort of plastic material. This is a very cool looking light but it is very fragile!! It came not packaged well and corners at base were bent and creased - no way to uncrease!

Unfortunately I received the wrong bulb socket type, but I will have to say that even though this lamp is a unique design, The construction and material utilization does not justify the extremely high retail price

Used this in our very modern condo, wood grain adds warmth to the space but still looks modern.
