Love everything about this company’s lamps

If you believe that you're getting a lamp that's has a metal shade and metal base, as I believed based on the description then you will be sorely disappointed. The lamp shade is a medium weight plastic/cardboard type material that has been painted and the base is like plaster of Paris. With that being said, the lamp is very pretty, but is cheaply made. The actual product doesn't match the description. If the materials don't matter, then it's nice, but for $469.....you be the judge.

I have wanted these lamps for years. I absolutely am in love with them and I get compliments on them all the time. They look like art not just lamps.
