Beautiful lamp, nice black metal, much bigger in person than on photos, however the base is super small. I Had to replace with a different base as I couldn’t get it installed it otherwise. The light from it does disperse (vs hit the island directly on the bottom) so when you’re sitting down the light can be directly at eye level. Make sure to double check eye level high when you are sitting and standing.

The LED light is piercingly bright. Good for a work area, like a kitchen. But hard to look at. The wire the lamp hangs from looks cheap, but the lamp part of it looks cool and modern.

I like the style it’s very simple and clean. We haven’t hung them yet to see how they look over the island but so far I’m happy with them.
