As designed, it's impossible to install this fixture without a second pair of hands on a separate 6' ladder holding the outer glass shade in place as final connections are made to building power. The second pair of hands is not customary and absolutely should have been explained on the website

We bought this light for several spots in our home and we've been so happy with the quality of the light as well as the look/feel of the light. The electrician said they were very easy to install. Bonus is that they are dimmable and have an integrated LED light, so we will never have to replace bulbs. We've gotten a ton of compliments on them. Very happy with the purchase

basically reads like an elevated can light with glass case, it becomes invisible but looks intentional
