Has 2 cylindrical bulbs, one at top, one at bottom. The brushed nickel finish is beautiful. Installation is very simple, just follow included instructions . The soft lighting it provides is perfect for my need. I placed it in the hallway, which gives enough light for my granddaughters, without needing the overhead on. They love it, often catch them simply standing there marveling at its beauty. Such a beautiful work of art.
