[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love big balls. Who doesn’t? Beach balls, soccer balls, those big balls you can get inside and roll down hills, I could go on! So this big ball is no different! Like a bright metallic bubble, it rises through our living room, making us feel a warm embrace of being underwater, yet lifted up like a hot air balloon. The installation was super easy, as most light fixtures are, but this ball is extremely huge, and the light source inside is pretty small. The main issue I had was the finish. It’s not… clean? It seems to have a residue on it, and I’m afraid to clean it and ruin the nickel finish since that is such a thin layer. Oh, and don’t put this in direct sunlight! I learned that the hard way. Think of an ant under a magnifying glass, and you’ll know what I mean.
