We have ordered several lighting fixtures for our new home from Perigold and have always been very pleased with our purchases. Until now. Wow. What we got was not a glass shade, but a PLASTIC , FLAT white shade made to look like rice paper!!! We couldn’t believe it when we opened the box!!! I read the 3 reviews and no one mentioned that it was a flat plastic shade that you have to form and put the 4 holes through the metal hanger!! Extremely cheap looking!!! Definitely not worth $1,000+ dollars!! I would MAYBE pay $100.00 for this fixture!! So disappointed!!! Just a stark white piece of plastic with metal fixture..... The photo looks amber. Maybe with the light on, otherwise, just a cheap white piece of plastic. It was 31 days since shipping. We didn’t open until we could get the electrician out to connect it. Didn’t want to remove from box. Thankfully, Perigold said we could return it even though it was 1 day over the return policy period. Very nice representative! Bottom line. Very cheap product.
