Nice piano lamp. Keeps about four pages of sheet music well enough lit for me, more than that falls into shadow if there's no other light source in the room.

Generally I am very pleased with this lamp. It is exactly what I needed--good quality, sturdy, the switch is on the lamp. It did say you could use up to a 60W bulb but when I tried a 60W it burned out. It is working well with a 40W and giving enough light. I guess if I tried it with a 40 in the first place I would have given it 5 stars. Of course it was a lot more expensive buying it from Canada than it would have been buying it in the US.

I'm very glad I ordered this lamp. I installed it on the grand piano of my Church, it looks nice and I can see better when I play the piano. I recommend it for all pianists.
