Fits the need for direct reading light but a bit pricey for the quality. Light hood very sensitive and loosens easily if you touch it. Adjustable portion of lamp squeaks as you adjust. If loosened to avoid squeak doesn't hold position and falls over. Would not recommend.

I purchased this lamp some time ago. It arrived in about the time I anticipated and in great condition. It is a very high quality, heavy and a well built lamp. It has been perfect for what we needed. Great reading lamp for bedside. I can turn the shell up or down to keep light out of others eyes. I bought 2 and I made the perfect selection for our use. I highly recommend.
