The lamp is beautiful…exactly as pictured. However, the base was not put on correctly. I think it will be a simple fix but will entail getting the right tools and toolman. Note how porcelain lamp is not centered over the lucite base.

The color of the blue is a little brighter than the photo -- but, wow, do these ever make a statement that is not only bold, but also a tad subtle at the same time. They don't overwhelm. Used them on either side of a large king bed for a guest room.
