I wanted this chandelier so badly when we were remodeling. It was expensive and we decided to splurge. Once installed it was such a disappointment because of the lights that come with it. They are a garish color taking any ambience one might hope for during dinner away. They are either extremely bright and my husband complains, or too low and I complain because they are not bright enough. This hangs over the dining room table and another problem with it is the lights blind you when you stand near the table before sitting down because they are exactly at eye level. I’ve never paid so much money for something I thought was so beautiful that I was this displeased over, ever. I wish I would not have purchased this but after all the hassle it was to install and get centered in a ceiling there’s no way this thing is coming down. I make do by wrapping battery operated fairy lights around the ginkgo leaves and at least that creates some delicate ambiance. What a waste of a LOT of money this was.

This is a high quality piece. Easy to install. You may want to drill 2 holes for the canopy if you’re switching from a round one to this oblong one. It will add stability to the chandelier weight. The lumen output is quite bright at max (greatly appreciated), the dimmable option is lovely. Overall, a unique and timeless piece.
