Huge (ok, this is my fault for not paying closer attention to the measurements) but definitely not suitable for a 9 ft. ceiling. In addition, the inside of the lamp looks like its a warm, stately gold in the photos.However, in person, it's a strange beige tone/oddly textured. Wish I had unpacked it sooner-- would have returned it but missed the window due to building delays.
