Additional Features

• The body is mouth-blown, a process that leaves subtle depth and irregularity you do not get from molded glass.
• Layered glasswork produces flowing chevron patterns that shift as light passes through, so the piece changes character between day and evening.
• The silhouette follows a vase designed by a noted French glass artist in 1925, giving a modern lamp real design lineage.
• The glass body needs no ornament beyond its own surface, which keeps a traditional room from picking up another pattern to match.
• A slim metal disc base takes up almost no visual space, keeping attention on the glass form above it.
