Additional Features

• No two surfaces are stroked identically, so slight differences in coverage and brushwork are evidence of the hand that made it.
• Soft double-gourd curves give the body a statuesque presence while keeping every line rounded rather than architectural.
• The hardware is kept minimal at the neck and the base, so the hand-painted ceramic stays the thing you look at.
• A linen drum shade holds a straight, tailored line above all that curve and pushes light out at both ends.
• The hand-painted body acts as the accent in a neutral room, doing the work a pillow or a vase would otherwise do.
