Additional Features

• Wood is carved by hand into a stack of rounded discs, a column that stays interesting from every viewing angle.
• The marbled pattern is applied by hand using a technique first developed for paper, so it flows instead of printing flat.
• Hand marbling swirls across the surface without repeating, so the body holds attention even with the lamp switched off.
• Carved ridges catch light along their edges, adding shadow and dimension that a smooth turned body would not have.
• A linen drum shade tempers the bold base and diffuses the bulb into a soft, usable glow.
