Both smooth and textured, the Luminette Table Lamp sets a bell-shaped body of clear glass against rows wrapped around it in a spiral. Each row begins as a strand of liquid glass laid on by hand and pressed with small dollops, so the wall of the vessel thickens and ripples where they land. The body weighs more than it looks like it should, which is what glass this thick feels like in the hand. Set it on a console, a bedside table, or a dining room sideboard where daylight can pass through it.
