Additional Features

• The belted hourglass body gives the lamp a curve a straight column cannot, so it reads as sculpture from across the room.
• Pressed composite mimics panels of shagreen, adding fine pattern and tactile interest across the body.
• A metal ring at the waist repeats at the cap and the base, giving the form a measured, architectural rhythm.
• The finial is worked to match the body, a small consistency that keeps the top of the lamp from looking like an afterthought.
• A linen drum shade spreads light wide enough to cover a work surface or the corner chair beside it.
