This lamp is heavy and works great on my console table.

Base was extremely large and heavy. Top of lamp is really white with a stippled texture. Internet pictures don't reveal the texture. Returned the lamp and was glad to pay the shipping fee not to keep it.

The lamp in person looks ok. Quality is not the best. It looks perfect in my space so I did keep it.
