It's a beautiful fixture, but I was expecting the metal to be a coppery finish and it is NOT. The color of the metal is literally distressed gun metal gray. NOT in any way copper color. The picture shows the metal finish as distressed copper. Since I selected this specifically to coordinate with my dining room chandelier (which is copper colored) I am now faced with the dilemma of how I can "modify" the finish to transform it to a coppery color. Yes, that means I will have to pull off some sort of MacGiver trick with some metallic paint on a 10' ladder (it's already been installed)! Might be helpful if the description were more specific, since the picture does not reflect the true finish. Kinda bummed......
