Yes, this lamp is expensive, but yes, it’s FABULOUS! Purchased two for bedroom nightstands and I couldn’t be happier. They were very well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. The light ivory shade is also perfect and the top crystal ball tightens down nicely so the shade doesn’t spin around. Another lamp on the Perigold/Wayfair site by Robert Abbey looks very similar and the same price as this one, however, in reading the reviews for the other lamp, the top crystal piece that holds the shade in place doesn’t screw down tightly and just spins around; thus making the shade also move. This lamp has a 3-way switch, so it looks gorgeous with the dimmest setting, but brightness can be increased with just a turn of the switch. This was a great purchase for what I needed and the quality of the lamp is amazing. You will not be sorry purchasing this lamp.
