I REALLY wanted to love this lamp!! The shape and the scale are beautiful! Unfortunately the construction is unattractive. There's a blobby seam line that runs the length of the lamp from top to bottom see photo), and it's on both sides of the lamp, making it impossible to hide. Maybe these lines are a part of the design but I found them unattractive; to me it looks cheap and shoddy, but of course it's not. Also, the lamp shade is too yellow looking for my taste (even with a bright white bulb). I would have preferred a white shade.

These lamps are the perfect addition to a gorgeous bedroom.

So pleased when this lamp arrived. It is beautiful quality, was packaged perfectly and looks great!

Not worth the money or the wait to get …these gold lamps are the first thing I have purchased from Perigold that looks better online than in person but it would be costly to return so I will use them until I find something I like better.

Nice lamp. Wish the base was a little bit wider.
