We installed this 5 years ago on a remodel and had looked at the 9" depth in the store and decided on that one. We didn't realize right next to it was the 5" depth and when we went back to order at the plumbing store, accidentally just pointed the 5" depth out in a rush to get it ordered. When it arrived, the plumber pointed it out and said we would hate it and offered to return and reorder, but we had already waited 3 weeks for this one and were eager to be done with the remodel so we opted to keep it. We are 5 years in and wish we had paid more attention and listened to our plumber. The sink, while lovely and works, is not deep enough to counter splashing when washing hands, pots, etc. and so as a result the granite around the sink is already showing signs of hardwater stains that we will have to pay to have polished out. This is a sink more for a side in the kitchen to hand wash vegs, etc in and not for utility /main sink.. Wanetta. Texas. Fri Jan 29 2021

Bring classic farmhouse charm and modern functionality to your kitchen with the KOHLER Whitehaven undermount double-bowl farmhouse kitchen sink. Crafted from durable enameled cast iron, this farmhouse sink resists chipping, cracking, and burning, so its beautiful finish endures through years of daily cooking, cleaning, and gathering. The Self-Trimming® design overlaps the cabinet face for a seamless, professional look and simpler installation, while the Smart Divide® low-profile divider gives you the flexibility to soak large cookware in one spacious bowl while keeping tasks separated. Generous bowls slope gently toward an offset drain to minimize water pooling and increase storage space beneath, keeping your workspace clean and clutter-free. Designed to fit most standard 36" farmhouse sink cabinetry, this Whitehaven sink blends timeless style with everyday functionality. It is an inviting centerpiece for anyone who wants a farmhouse sink that pairs enduring craftsmanship with thoughtful, reliable design.
