Blomus Kumi ceramic teapot will add beauty and tradition to tea time. Designed for seeping herbal tea and serving (not for stovetop use). The Kumi tabletop range features typical Japanese shapes in natural colors, and in addition to typical tabletop items, also includes traditional Japanese items such as a small bowl for soy sauce and the characteristic tea mug without a handle. Kumi is created with the Japanese process of reactive glazing, which comes out differently with every firing and reacts to the slightest variations of oxygen in the kiln. True to the Japanese philosophy of Wabi Sabi, in which beauty is found only in the imperfect, the pieces will feature slight variances such as dots or irregularities which are part of the reactive glazing process. These characteristics of each piece are considered traits of the object's personality and lend to its sophistication. Kumi is a Japanese word meaning eternal beauty. Colors complement one another beautifully and can be mixed for a stunning presentation.

The sandstone bodies of the Salam Monochrome and their lacquered stainless steel bells made in our Normandy factory, symbolize the perfect alliance of the know-how of Maison Degrenne. The boxes contain a four-cup Salam Monochrome teapot. The colored products are handcrafted in mass-tinted stoneware. This process can bring slight variations in color reflecting the manual work necessary to make these gift boxes. The teapot body is dishwasher-safe, bell and feet are to be washed by hand.

I love villeroy Boch items This teapot was made so nice I love it n so happy it arrived safely since a little more than half of these breakable items have not arrived in one piece over the last 3 yrs coming from the warehouse due to shipping items like this in bags with no padding or bubble wrap, I’ve tried to address this with wayfair but there was not much other than that I could do than have it noted each time an item arrived damaged. The teapot and all other items from placemats to tablecloths to candle holders from vases to dish n silverware sets I have ordered from wayfair I love by this brand, even there holiday collection but I’ve had to stop since there was always a 50 chance or more that it might arrive broken n my account was starting to take the blame which I did not like feeling like I did anything wrong, Thank you.
