After an exhaustive search we found this perfect ZLINE microwave to put in the corner of our new kitchen next to the pantry. This is an OTR model but it can be mounted as we did. It convenient yet out of the way, not taking up counters pace. We didn't care for the microwave in a drawer, so this was the fix. The tubular handle matched other appliances. My only thought was I wished the handle matched. For some reason it's shiny chrome on a stainless trimmed front? You don't notice as it's in the corner, but we did wonder. It is a very nice piece of equipment, with just a few comments. First, the microwave function is very quiet, a plus. However, the internal vent fan is very loud. More to the point, while air blows out the top vent, there is very little flow into the two-under vent portals, not very efficient removing smoke and odors. The control and number pad is very difficult to read in normal light. Either the text needs to stand out more, or ideally it would be better if illuminated. I recently installed the ZLINE Dishwasher Model DW7713-24, and I’m genuinely impressed. From the moment it was installed, it elevated the look of my kitchen with its sleek, modern design. It blends beautifully with my cabinetry and feels much more high-end than its price point suggests. Performance-wise, this dishwasher delivers. It cleans dishes thoroughly—even heavily soiled pots and pans come out spotless. I especially appreciate how quiet it runs; you can barely tell it’s on, which is perfect for an open-concept home. The interior layout is well thought out, with adjustable racks that make loading larger items easy. The controls are intuitive, and the multiple wash cycles give great flexibility depending on the load. Dishes also come out nicely dry, which hasn’t always been my experience with other dishwashers. The microwave functions good so far, have not used the convection oven features yet. I think the keypad is a litle difficult, you have to press the button really hard to get them to function. Then slowly, the 1 quick cook button failed, then the start and stop button failed. Needless to say, the unit is sold with the panel, which makes for a very costly replacement. The new microwave has a lock feature which I imagine is helpful for being built in below a counter, and it has wifi. No issues so far and it seems to even better than the old one.
