Michael Aram presents the Butterfly Ginkgo Paper Towel Holder, a lyrical exploration of nature's ability to metamorphose from flora to fauna. Inspired by the Ginkgo Biloba tree, this freestanding piece features delicate goldtone leaves reminiscent of a butterfly's wings, hand-rendered with the highest level of Indian craftsmanship. The juxtaposition of nickelplate and oxidized finishes creates a poetic fantasia, turning a kitchen essential into a storied work of art. Designed with a weighted base to accommodate large rolls, it celebrates the perfectly imperfect beauty of the handmade process. This functional sculpture transforms the everyday into a moment of magic.

Super good looking and functional. It’s a good purchase.. Debra. Fair Oaks, CA. Sun Jun 28 2026

The Crested Bird Napkin Holder pairs sculptural detail with everyday function. A finely cast bird in an Antique Gold finish perches atop a solid walnut base, creating a quiet interplay between warm wood and softly reflective metal. Designed to hold cocktail or luncheon napkins, the Crested Bird Napkin Holder brings a considered, collected note to table settings, bars and sideboards.

The extraordinary success of the “Mediterraneo” fruit holder by Emma Silvestris in 2006 drove us to explore the potential for expanding this icon into new types of products.

The Pomegranate collection takes its inspiration from one of the most universal and ancient symbols in the world. The fruit has been prized across the globe, across cultures, and across time as a representation of life, rebirth, and renewal, as well as fertility and union. "I grew up around pomegranates—from their use as natural dyes on the antique rugs I used to crawl on as a baby to an integral ingredient in the food that I love. When I'm at my home in New Delhi, I wake each morning to the taste of freshly squeezed juice. The color, the smell, and the delicate flavor all make it feel like a magical elixir to me."

Typical Michael Aram quality and aesthetic paying homage to India where he’s gotten a lot of inspiration has artisans working side by side. Yamani. Fri May 22 2026

Casafina takes a modern approach to vintage culinary French pottery with its collection Poterie. Inspired by the timeless gems of "Poterie en Gres", the collection pairs unique kitchenware and dinnerware pieces with different shapes, textures, and dramatic finishes, welcoming a casual look to any home. Each plate and mug features a hand-brushed rim that adds a rustic touch to the table. Simple, yet robust, these pieces will become a favorite. Vintage mixing bowls come in 3 sizes and showcase a spectacular reactive glaze on the interior, contrasting with a darker, matte glaze on the exterior. The collection also includes a generous oval platter, pitcher, cruet, a spoon rest, a charming array of bakeware items, a selection of kitchen utensils, and baking pieces featuring a stunning reactive glaze that adds a casual and contemporary look to the kitchen.

The Golden Ginkgo collection takes its inspiration from the intricacies of form and texture found in foliage from around the world. By interpreting plant forms in cast metal, Aram presents work that is evocative of a natural environment transformed and redefined. "These pieces have wonderfully undulating leaves, which create an almost rococo surface of playful, delicate, and intricate forms. By combining the individually sculpted leaves, the natural forms join to create a complex pattern. I've tried to capture that sense of movement and fragility in metal".

Love this piece. Have always been a fan of Michael Aram.. Sarah. Lake Elmo, MN. Sun Mar 10 2024

The Butterfly Ginkgo collection celebrates the representation of flora as fauna. Michael's fascination with a particular type of ginkgo tree, the ginkgo Biloba, or "Butterfly Ginkgo", which grows with a double leaf reminiscent of a butterfly's wings, gave rise to a fantasia image of the plant. Executed at the highest level of hand craftsmanship, each piece is rendered in solid bronze with acid-etched cocoon-shaped vessels. The pieces in the collection are a tour de force of Indian craft and capture the poetic spirit that is so deeply indicative of Michael's work. The first time I saw this tree, it looked like it had been completely overtaken by butterflies...as if they would all take flight the moment I walked too close or made a noise. The idea that the leaves could evoke the beauty of butterflies was magical to me, like trees that can metamorphose from flora to fauna in the blink of an eye.

It’s very pretty and functional in my guest bathroom it looks as pictured good purchase.. Debra. Fair Oaks, CA. Sun Jun 28 2026

The Anemone collection is inspired by anemone flowers, which in some cultures are said to bring good luck and offer protection. The flowers are associated with purity and peace. "For me, there is a beauty and gracefulness inherent in anemones. The curving stems and vibrant blooms are feminine and deeply alluring".

Packaged very well. Beautiful. Be careful with the ornamental leaf at the base. It was resting on the counter top and slightly scrubbed counter when moved, but will not bend to raise so it won't scrub. Luckily, I did not force. I am sure it would have broken.. Cynthia.
