Great pan but already scratched. My catsitter must’ve done it. For 180 you would think it wouldn’t be too easy to scratch this. The bummer is I could’ve spent MUCH less to have a scratched finish. I am delighted with the Cuisinart Multiclad Pro Triple Ply Saucepan with Cover! It is a good, heavy pan that holds heat well and cleans up well. After burning the inexpensive pots I previously used to make oatmeal each morning, I replaced them with the Cuisinart and the difference is marked. I have not used it on heat higher than the medium setting on my gas stove and I am using only wooden utensils inside the pot. It has cooked beautifully with no hot spots. The Thomas Keller 4 qt Saucepan is a wonderfully designed pan with substantial heft. Its not too heavy nor too light and is wide enough to accomplish most tasks. Clean up is simple, and any stuck on food can be removed either by soaking it in warm soapy water or by making a paste with Barkeepers Friend.
