The real Crema Marfil is quarried near Alicante, Spain and is technically a limestone. However, it is widely labeled as a Marble because it can be polished to a high shine. It has a subtle beige veined background and is an excellent material if you are looking for a gentle warm neutral color palette. Please beware of less expensive options on the market quarried often from Turkey, Indonesia, Egypt or China as they have less desirable yellow, pink or red hues.

Arrived (earlier than expected!) and looks just as advertised. This product is pretty thick, so be sure if you are buying this with another tile it is equally thick. I opted for this when I wanted to do a white and yellow hex tile floor in my vintage bathroom and realized it is nearly impossible to find light yellow 1" hex tiles! This will give a vintage, yet updated and elegant look. Only downside I noticed is that one or two tiles seem slightly chipped along the edges, but minimal and to be expected on one or two when shipping a natural stone product. Haven't installed it yet (tile guy will be doing that) but if there are any edits to this review after installation I will try to let you all know! Hope to add photos when done too!. Anonymous. Beware that the square foot calculator is wrong on this product. It calculates 10 sqft per box but there are only 5 12" x 12" tiles per box making a total of 5 sqft. So the square foot price should be doubled as well. I am now stuck with a half finished floor and a budget that has doubled unexpectedly. Not happy at all. I've waited on hold for an hour and not spoken to anyone yet and the chat person/robot was totally unhelpful. The tile itself is quite nice but for the price I am now paying per sqft I probably could have gotten something even nicer.. Brad. Chelsea, MI. Sat Jun 13 2020
