Absolutely beautiful tile!!. Nicole. Howell, MI. Sat Feb 17 2024

The Emery handmade glossy terracotta tile is a testament to the beauty of tradition. These square format tiles are made with centuries-old techniques. They're handmade and twice-fired in a wood-burning kiln. Emery's rich, piercing blue color and beautifully uneven surface can only be achieved through its genuine handmade production process. Investing in these tiles brings not just beauty into your home, but also a first-rate example of fine craftsmanship. The handcrafted tiles of the Emery collection are made using deliberately slow production techniques with each tile taking more than 30 days from start to finish. The patience shown by ceramics masters yields brilliant colors and artisanal surfaces. Made sustainably in Italy, this collection features subway formats, allowing you to mix and match for endless pattern and palette possibilities. The master ceramicists who create the Emery collection do so in a meticulous method that has been passed down for generations. The process begins with high-quality rock clay. Once purified, it is pressed into wooden molds and left to air dry for several weeks. Once dry, the clay is fired in a wood-burning kiln for 36 hours, glazed, and fired again for 20 more hours.

The tile is gorgeous! My one issue is that the sample I received did not have imperfections but then when I received the 75 square feet of tile there were 35% had an aging look perhaps that I don’t love. We tried to intermingle these ones so they are not as noticeable. The first picture is the sample I received, the second picture is a close up of one of the “aged” tiles and the final is the outdoor shower in progress.. Jeannine. Costa Mesa, CA. Wed May 20 2026

This collection’s rich palette of earthy neutrals, directly drawn from Morocco's riads and souks, where bold architecture and lush foliage go hand in hand. Choose from a classic 4x4 square or herringbone mosaic, both featuring rich color variation and the artisanal appeal of a slightly irregular surface. In Arabic, the word zellige means “polished stone.” This type of glazed terracotta tile was traditionally handmade and kiln-dried by artisans in Morocco. The Zelora collection replicates zellige’s charming, handcrafted character with its nuanced shade variations and clipped edges, while offering more streamlined installation thanks to its uniform ceramic construction.

I loved this tile, and it looks fantastic on my bathroom floor and as additional inset in my kitchen. The tile is good quality, and the printing lends itself to the slightly distressed look very well. I got a decent mix of solid and patterned in each box. Nothing arrived chipped or damaged, and I would definitely buy this again. Two caveats: the first being, laying this tile should really be done by someone practiced however. Even with spacers it can be hard to get the distance between tiles set correctly, which invariably leads to uneven grout lines. Second caveat, returning any extra is essentially a no-go since shipping back is cost prohibitive. I'd really consider ordering this tile through a local hardware or flooring store OR ordering a lot less for your project and doing it as you go. It'll take longer, but way better than ending up with 3 extra boxes (like I did).. Jeanne. Hawthorne, CA. Wed Sep 10 2025

Its impervious, frost-resistant, and durable features make this an ideal choice for both commercial and residential indoor and outdoor installations including, kitchens, bathrooms, backsplashes, showers, hallways, entryways, patios, and fireplace facades. Tile is the better choice for your space.

I love these! The variation of color is slight, and adds great interest. Quality tile, worth the price, and the price was very fair. Thanks!. Michaela. US. Fri Jul 10 2026
