Blomus Kumi stoneware teapot will add beauty and tradition to tea time. The Kumi tabletop range features typical Japanese shapes in natural colors, and in addition to typical tabletop items, also includes traditional Japanese items such as a small bowl for soy sauce and the characteristic tea mug without a handle. Kumi is created with the Japanese process of reactive glazing, which comes out differently with every firing and reacts to the slightest variations of oxygen in the kiln. True to the Japanese philosophy of Wabi Sabi, in which beauty is found only in the imperfect, the pieces will feature slight variances such as dots or irregularities which are part of the reactive glazing process. These characteristics of each piece are considered traits of the object's personality and lend to its sophistication. Kumi is a Japanese word meaning eternal beauty. The design for Fleurs Sauvages draws on the sensations of blooming flowers, the humming of insects, delicate leaves, and cool grass to give the overall impression of a walk in a summer paradise. Inspired by the glorious harmony of the different plants in a flower meadow, Swiss textile designer Regula Stüdli came up with an arrangement of wildflowers and intricate twigs, scattered haphazardly and in striking contrast to the green leaves and white blossoms.

Inspired by the opera of the same name by Giacomo Puccini, the Turandot decor is an homage to the 18th-century chinoiseries, which already played an important role in the Rosenthal designs of the late 19th century. A lavish farandole of peony blossoms, bamboo, and ginkgo leaves in delicate colors meets golden dragonflies. The background for the poetic porcelain paintings is a white or dark blue background framed by a narrow gold rim. Gianni Cinti tells us that he had the idea for the complex decoration when he remembered a visit to the shore of West Lake in Hangzhou, China. The interweaving of Western and Eastern elements is emphasized by the extension of the collection to include elements of classical Chinese food culture such as rice and soup bowls, porcelain spoons, chopstick holders, and tea caddies.

Sailor’s Farewell is the second collaboration between Wedgwood and renowned, award-winning interior designer Kit Kemp, whose style is about whimsical storytelling, color, and imagination. The collection is derived from a fabric she designed for Chelsea textiles, inspired by a beautiful drawing by John Craxton depicting a Sailor’s wife waving farewell. Blending kit’s love of craft and simple, lyrical folk art, the sailor’s loved one is waving goodbye on a rock with her scarf flying in the wind. As she waves, the witty motifs around each China piece show the sailor’s adventures on the high seas, both above and below the waterline. The rust-red sails of his sailing ship pass by whales and merfolk fishing, there are two little dogs alone on the high seas, seagulls flying above the lighthouse and the enticing sight of a house under a palm tree on a faraway desert island. Below in the depths is a frogman, a curious octopus, and the flashing fins of many fish. The delicate pale blue linen finish of the original fabric design is discernible on the tableware with a stronger blue and 22-karat gold hand-applied lining around the rim. The Kit Kemp Sailor's Farewell Teapot showcases the sailor’s adventure as the ship passes by a whale and curious octopus down below. Beautifully presented in Wedgwood’s signature blue gift box, each piece is made in England, crafted in fine bone China, and finished with 22-karat gold.

Mirror-effect finish enhances the high quality of stainless steel, emphasizing shapes and design. I love villeroy Boch items This teapot was made so nice I love it n so happy it arrived safely since a little more than half of these breakable items have not arrived in one piece over the last 3 yrs coming from the warehouse due to shipping items like this in bags with no padding or bubble wrap, I’ve tried to address this with wayfair but there was not much other than that I could do than have it noted each time an item arrived damaged.
