I love the color variations that don't make it one dimensional. The picture on the site, to me, appeared as though there was a rough texture but it is very smooth. The opposite side is ribbed if tgats the look you're going for. I was initially concerned with it being paired with a black countertop, but I couldn't be happier. This kitchen sink comes with an included grid and drain. Finished in a matte glaze that mimics the effect of concrete. It has ombré variations of gray. It also has a side set drain that allows for more unobstructed under-cabinet space. A large single-bowl design, slopes, and tapers to the bottom of the basin. The compatible bottom grid is included and the drain can be placed to either side - so you get the most function out of your sink! The grid will help to protect against chipping from any dropped pots or pans with its soft feet and bumpers, while also letting the water run below dishes to the drain. The top edge of the sink is glazed so it can be top-mounted as well as under-mounted. Fireclay is an eco-friendly natural material. The large single basin will help to maximize space and accommodate even the largest kitchen and bakeware with no problem. A note about fireclay sinks: Due to the curing process, small surface cracks typically appear on the underside of the sink. These cosmetic flaws are from the molding process and do not affect the performance or visible luster of the sink.

As a G.C., I ordered Shaws Shaker Single Bowl Apron Front 33” kitchen sink in White for a client. Ordering online through Wayfair was straightforward and without issue. I price shopped before ordering as my professional preference is to work with local businesses to source products. However, for this product, local kitchen & bath showrooms that were Rohl vendors did not carry the Shaws line requiring the extra step of submitting a PO directly to House of Rohl, significantly adding to lead time. Local showrooms offered competitive pricing to Wayfair, but I had to pay for additional shipping costs associated with the PO and therefore, Wayfair offered this product (in stock) and at the most competitive price. While it shipped quickly, it arrived completely cracked in half. However Zeeshan with customer service was able to quickly remedy the problem and I should have a new sink in 3 days without having to ship the 110lb broken sink back. Love the look, but you will need both a plumber and finish carpenter with patience and ability to customize cabinets due to the weight of the sink.
