The Shaker™ apron front fireclay sink is a modern interpretation of the 1897 original. Named for the design movement that believed less is more, this Shaker farmhouse sink takes a minimalist approach. Instead of the iconic apron front with rounded corners, the Shaker has a clean, rectangular shape with squared-off sides and thinner walls for a slimmer, more minimal look. Durable and lustrous, its classic farmhouse roots and authenticity are always apparent. And like all Shaws sinks, the Shaker is made by hand to last a lifetime.
As a G.C., I ordered Shaws Shaker Single Bowl Apron Front 33” kitchen sink in White for a client. Ordering online through Wayfair was straightforward and without issue. I price shopped before ordering as my professional preference is to work with local businesses to source products. However, for this product, local kitchen & bath showrooms that were Rohl vendors did not carry the Shaws line requiring the extra step of submitting a PO directly to House of Rohl, significantly adding to lead time. Local showrooms offered competitive pricing to Wayfair, but I had to pay for additional shipping costs associated with the PO and therefore, Wayfair offered this product (in stock) and at the most competitive price. Product shipped without delay and the delivery team, both in terms of communication and handling of product, was professional.. Kristen. RI. Mon Mar 08 2021
