Based on measurements of my counter space and granite setting, I couldn’t get an apron front or an undermount. This was a great alternative. I love the workstation and accessories offerings but I bought the Ruvati Accessories Multi-function Workstation Organizer and Caddy with Soap Dispenser and Knife Block because I thought it would work great. The caddy is very rigidly straight and the sink slopes in very slightly as you get deeper. Sad to say the caddy did not fit. What a gorgeous sink. It’s just as the pictures if not better. We haven’t installed it yet but I’m sure it will be great. The chiseled front looks good, it has a grey color in it since the front is not treated. If you wanted the front to be black you just need to seal the front with a wet sealer. This sink is a really great size, and just fits over my 30" cabinet base. I love the lip and the colander that slides side to side. Based on measurements of my counter space and granite setting, I couldn’t get an apron front or an undermount. This was a great alternative. I love the workstation and accessories offerings but I bought the Ruvati Accessories Multi-function Workstation Organizer and Caddy with Soap Dispenser and Knife Block because I thought it would work great. The caddy is very rigidly straight and the sink slopes in very slightly as you get deeper. Sad to say the caddy did not fit. I love the color variations that don't make it one dimensional. The picture on the site, to me, appeared as though there was a rough texture but it is very smooth. The opposite side is ribbed if tgats the look you're going for. I was initially concerned with it being paired with a black countertop, but I couldn't be happier. My husband and brother in law were able to install it with about a day and a half of work - neither of them are professional plumbers or handy men, but they are very DIY capable and were able to take on the project with no hiccups! The sink itself is gorgeous, easy to clean, easy on my dishes (nothing has broken) and the size is perfect. It has made cleaning my pots and pans very easy, there is so much space. I also love that the design has opened up my kitchen space as well. The metal hook that comes with it is good in theory but it’s kind of flimsy.
