MAKOTO Stoneware Teapot, designed and made in Portugal, feature matte glazes in warm Nordic color tones. MAKOTO embodies the Japanese spirit with its clear geometries and subtle bases which give the appearance of a floating lightness. The metal handle can be used both upright and sideways, while hidden silicone elements ensure a secure grip and protect the glaze. A removable tea strainer makes preparation and cleaning easy. When pouring, lightly hold the lid in place. Pour heated water into the container. Tea strainer will steep tea in the teapot.

Ceramic stoneware teapot with filter - 1 liter - Sablo designed by Frederike Martens, a German industrial designer with an emphasis on glass and ceramics is a perfect tea steeping system. Frederike designed the Sablo line taking inspiration from the natural materials of sand, clay, and water. The shapes are soft and inviting with pleasantly rounded edges and a slightly rough surface in some areas and glazed in others. Sablo stoneware is made from colored clay and a unique mix of quartz, minerals, and oxide. Stoneware is defined as a group of ceramic products and is used to produce plates, dishes, cachepots, and bowls, molded at very high temperatures using special casting techniques. The high temperature during the firing process ensures stoneware is more stable than clay and less translucent than porcelain. The colors, shapes, and appearance of the glaze as well as the overall look depend on the firing temperature and time and may vary slightly from piece to piece - each piece is unique and may show individual structures and shades. The clay of Sablo is fired at a very high temperature, therefore doesn't require all-over glazing. The ceramic pot is dishwasher and microwave-safe, filter parts should be hand washed. 5.1" height x 8.7" x 5.5" / 13cm x 22cm x 14cm. Preparation is easy with the stainless steel basket inside the pot to hold loose tea leaves, and its wooden handle stays cool to the touch for serving. The teapot is lead-free and made of cast iron with an enameled interior. It should not be placed directly on a stovetop.
