We installed this 5 years ago on a remodel and had looked at the 9" depth in the store and decided on that one. We didn't realize right next to it was the 5" depth and when we went back to order at the plumbing store, accidentally just pointed the 5" depth out in a rush to get it ordered. When it arrived, the plumber pointed it out and said we would hate it and offered to return and reorder, but we had already waited 3 weeks for this one and were eager to be done with the remodel so we opted to keep it. We are 5 years in and wish we had paid more attention and listened to our plumber. The sink, while lovely and works, is not deep enough to counter splashing when washing hands, pots, etc. and so as a result the granite around the sink is already showing signs of hardwater stains that we will have to pay to have polished out. This is a sink more for a side in the kitchen to hand wash vegs, etc in and not for utility /main sink.. Wanetta. Texas. Thu Jan 28 2021

Crafted from enameled cast iron, this sink resists chipping, cracking, or burning for years of beauty and reliable performance. This is the second home I have installed Kohler Riverby sink in because I love it so much! I have had the 30" version of it in my house since 2016 and it still looks like new! Keeping the included rack in the sink keeps it from getting scratched or marked. I needed a smaller sink for a small condominium I own, so I purchased the same sink in this 25" version. Having the drain offset away from the center makes it much easier to place and rinse dishes without spoons or forks dropping straight down into the drain, so I have never had that issue. It is beautiful, sturdy and the best part is how it slightly slopes downward toward the drain, making rinsing and cleaning it much more efficient. Wayfair delivered it safely and within the promised timeframe.. Susannah. Auburn, CA. Fri Mar 24 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I say I am in love with my sink, I genuinely mean it. It is not just an upgrade to my kitchen it is a complete transformation that redefined my entire cooking and cleaning experience. So much so that I found myself wanting to redesign my entire kitchen to match its sleek and modern aesthetic. Changed the countertops and stove and dishwasher to match. This sink is a stunning black composite granite model, and it is as durable as it is beautiful. The material is a blend of natural stone and resin, creating an ultra-resilient, non-porous surface that is resistant to scratches, stains, and heat. Unlike traditional stainless steel sinks that can dent or show water spots, this composite granite sink maintains its pristine, matte black finish effortlessly. One of the standout features is its deep, single-bowl design, I had a double before. It is incredibly spacious, allowing me to comfortably wash large pots, baking sheets, and even my oversized cutting boards without awkward maneuvering. The accompanying stainless steel grid protects the bottom surface and elevates dishes, promoting better drainage and minimizing contact with the base. The versatility of this sink is what truly won me over. It seamlessly integrates with a custom-fit cutting board, a roll-up drying rack, and a drain tray, turning the sink into a multi-functional workstation. These accessories allows me to prep food, rinse produce, and air-dry dishes all in one place, maximizing efficiency and saving valuable counter space. The matte black pull-down faucet is the perfect complement to the sink. It has a professional, industrial-style look with a spring design, offering both a powerful spray and a gentle stream. The flexibility and reach make cleaning every corner of the sink, as well as filling large pots, a breeze. Beyond the practical features, the sink's visual appeal is unmatched. It serves as a bold focal point in my kitchen, contrasting beautifully with my light-colored quartz countertops and cream cabinetry. The elegant tile backsplash further enhances the sophisticated ambiance. This sink is not merely a utility it is a statement piece. It elevates my entire kitchen, blending functionality with aesthetics in a way I never thought possible. I find myself looking forward to kitchen chores just to interact with this stunning fixture. If you are contemplating a kitchen renovation or simply want to enhance your current setup, investing in a black composite granite sink with integrated workstation features is a decision you will not regret.. This sink is a really great size, and just fits over my 30" cabinet base. I love the lip and the colander that slides side to side. Bring understated beauty to the heart of your home with the KOHLER Riverby undermount single-bowl kitchen sink. Crafted from enameled cast iron, this undermount kitchen sink resists chipping, cracking, and burning, so its elegant finish endures through years of daily cooking, washing, and gathering. The generous single-bowl provides ample room to soak pots, rinse produce, and clean oversized cookware with ease, while the bottom gently slopes toward an offset drain to minimize water pooling and keep your workspace clear. That thoughtful offset drain also opens up more room inside the bowl and more storage space in the cabinet below. Five oversized faucet holes welcome the faucet and accessories that suit the way you cook, and the included sink rack helps protect the surface as you work. Whether you are preparing a weeknight dinner or hosting friends, the Riverby sink pairs enduring performance with refined design to make every task feel a little more graceful.

So, the sink is beautiful and I love the offset drain and the work station features (extra cost but you can have a cutting board, colander, drying board and soaking bowl). However, two separate sinks were delivered with cracks in the corner. One was substantial, and I returned it to Wayfair w/o issue. The second was a small hairline crack that was just forming, and I exchanged it under warranty with Kohler. I got a 3rd sink with no issues, but now I'm scared cracks might develop down the road. Unfortunately the counter was already templated to this sink (which btw you must use the template to make sure the edges are exposed for the accessories), so I just have my fingers crossed. Also the Kohler logo is already faded off.. Erin. Reno, NV. Sat Apr 11 2026

Just got this sink, and had it installed yesterday, the sink is absolutely beautiful! It really brightens up our kitchen! The ripples in the porcelain when light reflects on it at nighttime make you feel like you are at a real river!!! So cool! At first I thought that the ripples were a flaw until my husband looked it up online, and read where they put those in the sink to give one the feel of being at a river. A beautiful relaxing sink, that cheers one up while using it sure is better than the dull boring stainless steel sink that we took out to replace it with. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a double basin sink in the same black matte texture as this farmhouse sink and I am loving the upgrade! My husband and brother in law were able to install it with about a day and a half of work - neither of them are professional plumbers or handy men, but they are very DIY capable and were able to take on the project with no hiccups! The sink itself is gorgeous, easy to clean, easy on my dishes (nothing has broken) and the size is perfect. It has made cleaning my pots and pans very easy, there is so much space. I also love that the design has opened up my kitchen space as well. The metal hook that comes with it is good in theory but it’s kind of flimsy. I have many times walked by or accidentally knocked it and it goes flying off onto the floor. Not a dealbreaker but wanted to mention it.. Sageygirl. Springfield, TN. Mon Mar 16 2020
