I absolutely love these tiles! They have such a beautiful vintage, French-inspired look and add so much character and charm to my spare bathroom. They are definitely distressed, so if you prefer everything to look clean and perfect, these probably arent for you. My mom actually thinks the grout looks dirty, but thats exactly the aged, textured look I was going for! I love how much warmth and personality they add to the space. The quality is great, but installation can be tricky with the little square pieces and spacing. Id recommend having some tiling experience before tackling these.. Danielle. CO. Sat Oct 10 2026

Absolutely beautiful tile!!. Nicole. Howell, MI. Sat Feb 17 2024

The Emery handmade glossy terracotta tile is a testament to the beauty of tradition. These square format tiles are made with centuries-old techniques. They're handmade and twice-fired in a wood-burning kiln. Emery's rich, piercing blue color and beautifully uneven surface can only be achieved through its genuine handmade production process. Investing in these tiles brings not just beauty into your home, but also a first-rate example of fine craftsmanship. The handcrafted tiles of the Emery collection are made using deliberately slow production techniques with each tile taking more than 30 days from start to finish. The patience shown by ceramics masters yields brilliant colors and artisanal surfaces. Made sustainably in Italy, this collection features subway formats, allowing you to mix and match for endless pattern and palette possibilities. The master ceramicists who create the Emery collection do so in a meticulous method that has been passed down for generations. The process begins with high-quality rock clay. Once purified, it is pressed into wooden molds and left to air dry for several weeks. Once dry, the clay is fired in a wood-burning kiln for 36 hours, glazed, and fired again for 20 more hours.

This collection’s rich palette of earthy neutrals, directly drawn from Morocco's riads and souks, where bold architecture and lush foliage go hand in hand. Choose from a classic 4x4 square or herringbone mosaic, both featuring rich color variation and the artisanal appeal of a slightly irregular surface. I loved this tile, and it looks fantastic on my bathroom floor and as additional inset in my kitchen. The tile is good quality, and the printing lends itself to the slightly distressed look very well. I got a decent mix of solid and patterned in each box. Nothing arrived chipped or damaged, and I would definitely buy this again. Two caveats: the first being, laying this tile should really be done by someone practiced however. Even with spacers it can be hard to get the distance between tiles set correctly, which invariably leads to uneven grout lines. Second caveat, returning any extra is essentially a no-go since shipping back is cost prohibitive. I'd really consider ordering this tile through a local hardware or flooring store OR ordering a lot less for your project and doing it as you go. It'll take longer, but way better than ending up with 3 extra boxes (like I did).. Jeanne. Hawthorne, CA. Wed Sep 10 2025

Hasn't been installed yet but laid it out on my hearth to get a visual. Beautiful tile, goes great with the laminate flooring and matches the the fireplace mantle. Will also be using on entryway into my garage and at the top of my stairs landing between 2 bedrooms.. Sharon. Huntington Beach, CA. Thu Sep 18 2025
