Design is on both sides. Branding engraved into wooden handle on one side. Dishwasher safe. BPA free. Spatula head is heat resistant up to 600°F. Obviously food safe silicone. The spatula head surface is smooth, which hopefully means that design won’t peel or scratch off, but it hasn’t gone through any washings yet, so I can’t say for sure.
