In collaboration with Studio Dearborn, Nantucket Sinks proudly presents The Steppe (TM) Sink. Sleek and practical, this two-tiered sink is designed with an eye on function. The Steppe’s innovative design features a full-depth basin plus a lowered platform and a custom dish drying rack for rinsing and air drying. The 10-inch deep, 25” wide large single bowl allows plenty of space to soak and clean large cookware and bakeware. Adjoining the spacious basin, a raised platform drain area helps to keep water in the sink and off your counters, with a slight pitch to drain freely into the basin drain. The included removable stainless wire dish rack fits into the raised platform for drying. The basin has a side set drain to give a more unobstructed surface area. This large sink includes a bottom grid, colander drain, and dish drying rack. Fabricated with premium 16 Gauge high-grade corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel and sound-deadening rubber padding. The bottom grid with rubber feet protects the basin’s brushed satin finish. Small radius corners make for easy cleaning. This sink can be installed with the drain on the left or right and comes with a Limited Lifetime warranty.

Ok so ordered this based on reviews and size. It arrived, I opened it and was very pleased with it. Seemed very good quality. Didn't pay much attention to it until my stone guys installed it and remarked at its unusual size. I went Over to the sink area, mind you now the sink is installed and the stone is cut, too late for any regrets, but while the sink is nice and extra wide at 34", it is NARROW! it's about 2-3" more narrow than a standard sink. Ask yourself this question: How much are you spending on your new kitchen? And are you willing to take a chance with an inexpensive farmhouse sink? An apron-front sink is often the focal point of the kitchen. While inexpensive sinks look nice coming out of the box (resulting in glowing reviews), eventually their "value engineering" will catch up with them. Your kitchen is too important to cut corners, and nothing is used more than your sink. Make a sound investment with a product that has addressed glaze longevity. Fossil Blu fireclay sinks are comprised of solid genuine crystalline-silica fireclay. When paired with a silica-based glaze and fired at 2200 degrees, the two silicas fuse together, creating a new quartz-like material. As opposed to inferior ceramic sinks, which are usually hollow core, fired at lower temperatures, and exhibit little fusing, ours is far superior and engineered to remove even the possibility of hairline cracks/crazing. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, and investment in Fossil Blu is worth every penny.

Nantucket Sinks' WFCC36FCWSW is a 36" wide workstation farmhouse apron fireclay sink. The included accessories feature a bottom grid, cutting board, and basket strainer drain. The cutting board handily fits on the internal ledge of the sink to keep your counters clear! Features a side drain creating more unobstructed space below in the base cabinet. The included grid helps water flow to the drain and prevents accidental chipping of the sink from dropped dishware. The sides of the sink have a slight taper from top to bottom and the basin is sloped for good drainage and glazed smooth in a glossy white classic finish. Due to the firing process, dimensions are nominal and may vary to actual up to 0.25". Apron-style base cabinet is required to support this sink. A note about fireclay: Small cracks will appear on the unglazed underside of the sink, these are cosmetic only and have no impact on the performance of the sink.
