Great pots and pans for the price never know what to buy anymore but this set I have purchased several times, they last several years with 4 hungry boys that torture them, dropping them using metal utensils cutting steaks in the pan with a sharp knife and the pans still keep on cooking….end of buying new set every 3-4 years not from the pans failure but from the kids torturing them and even then it’s just a skillet or 2 not the whole set… now we have lots of great pans…use them every day!!!. The interior cooking surface is a non-reactive surgical grade 304 stainless steel. The benefit of the stainless steel cooking surface is that it will not react with the acids in your food or impart a metal taste to your food. To make the pan induction capable, we remove the copper layer from the bottom of the pan, exposing the stainless steel layer.
