The interior cooking surface is a non-reactive surgical grade 304 stainless steel. The benefit of the stainless steel cooking surface is that it will not react with the acids in your food or impart a metal taste to your food. To make the pan induction capable, we remove the copper layer from the bottom of the pan, exposing the stainless steel layer.

We made the switch to stainless steel pots and pans and we have been very happy with our purchase! I was anxious to make the switch from non stick because I wasn’t sure how cleaning would go but these have been very easy to clean! There’s been a couple times I thought I burnt something on the pans and it would take a lot of work to clean, but it just wiped right off! The pans are very solid and we love the grips on them.
