Great pots and pans for the price never know what to buy anymore but this set I have purchased several times, they last several years with 4 hungry boys that torture them, dropping them using metal utensils cutting steaks in the pan with a sharp knife and the pans still keep on cooking….end of buying new set every 3-4 years not from the pans failure but from the kids torturing them and even then it’s just a skillet or 2 not the whole set… now we have lots of great pans…use them every day!!!. These pots are great so far. They’re very sturdy and well made. I wash them by hand to keep them looking new. The handles do get hot and that degree varies by size of the pot. That was a bit disappointing, especially since the description says that they stay cool. The sale price was really good so I decided to upgrade my old pots that I had for years. I can’t get it out and it’s still there after leaving it out to evaporate overnight. I’ve filed a warranty claim and they are sending me new lids but I feel like it’s a design issue and may happen again. We made the switch to stainless steel pots and pans and we have been very happy with our purchase! I was anxious to make the switch from non stick because I wasn’t sure how cleaning would go but these have been very easy to clean!
